Our Miniature Donkeys

Starlight Farms does not charge a fee to our special clients for AAA and AAT. We accept donations and selectively breed and place Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys to help toward expenses. More importantly, we want to share these incredible creatures with other Hawaii farm families.

A MMD is quite a commitment considering their lifespan is 30-35 years of joy! I take a great pride in my donkeys for many reasons and must approve of any new farm family for safety, appropriateness and tons of love.

Starlight Farms Donkey Foals

• All foals are “micro minis” meaning that they will be under 30” at the withers as adults. The average height of a typical MMD is 33”-34”.

• All foals are handled within an hour of birth once they have found Mom’s nourishment and are stable. They are super socialized as foals and are guaranteed people lovers.

• Donkeys are only sold in pairs as donks do not fair well without another donkey partner.

• Once you have your donkeys, I am available and happy to assist you in any way moving forward with their health and happiness. We become Donkey Ohana!
